terry: COM7 & COM8 are no longer broadcast from the Caradon Hill transmitter, no amount of retuning or anything else will change this.

terry: It's a huge job for the owner of this website (Briantist) to keep the multiplex/frequency listings up to date for over 1,100 transmitters. I'm sure he will catch up eventually.

10-7-2019 Good Evening - a pensioner friend of mine has explained to me that she has a problem with her freeview box and its channels - she lives in Penzance and her signal comes from Caradon Hill Redruth and she cannot get true entertainment which the message said that it has moved from 61 to 48 and a family member has re-tuned a number of times as message said to do but has not made any difference and she cannot get any of the true channels (True Movies). Can you respond with the reason - sending this on behalf of a friend as she has not got your phone number to contact you - thank you

True Entertainment is now only transmitted on the local multiplexes if available. Caradon Hill does not transmit any local services so True Entertainment is not available.

Sadly, channel reallocations have resulted in the loss of some popular channels. Other channels of lesser public service character survive. Surely nothing to do with commercial interests? Has "Freeview" lost its way? For full channel listings, see Digital UK | Channel listings

These changes have been made by Sony, not Freeview, see

If you go to the True Entertainment page on this site, there is a link to their Official Site True Channels and at the bottom of the page a contact us link where you can email them at info@truemovies.tv and complain about the moves to local muxes so you can no longer receive them. This is likely the only way it may change. Good luck.

channels 19 and 17 In spite of retuning. Problems with break-up occur at this time of day (8 p.m.) We are on the eastern edge of St. Austell and receive from the Caradon transmitter.

Those two channels are on the ArqA multiplex (UHF C24 at Caradon Hill). Put your postcode unto Digital UK - Coverage checker to see the transmitters you might receive and the predicted reception at your location. Do check your TV tuning to see that you are correctly tuned to the UHF channels for Caradon Hill.
Are you having problems with any other channels (LCNs) on the ArqA multiplex? see Digital UK | Channel listings
Please also note that reception of all multiplexes may be subject to interference due to the current weather & propagation conditions.
