The effective power level of two of the frequencies from Crystal Palace is showing as low. Is this the reason that the channels in each of these are too pixelated to be able to watch for the last 2 days?

As of yesterday, I have suddenly lost all four Freeview HD channels, with each of them displaying 'No Signal' when selected. The Freeview HD tuner is built into the TV set, not a separate box. Analogue and digital SD reception fine. Aerial sited on roof.
I wonder if there is a problem in my area,or could my set be at fault?

Like Mr Poulton, I too lost Freeview HD signal on Friday 20th Jan from about 21:05 to 21:55.
Freeview SD was unaffected, continuing with 60% signal strength.
This was experienced both by the tuner in my Humax Freeview HD box and built in tuner on Samsung TV.
Aerial is on the roof. Location: Uxbridge

I have new TV with a built in Freeview HD receiver but as yet cannot get HD channels. My transmitter is Crystal Palace and i believe the power level is low from the HD mux. Is this so and will it be increased when digital changeover occurs?

I live in St Pauls Cray

Ron Knight: Yes, the power of the HD services from Crystal Palace will be increased when switchover occurs.

HD services are not part of the standard offering before switchover. Crystal Palace is one of four transmitters that were chosen to carry it before switchover though.

The current HD service is lower power than the current pre-switchover standard definition services (which are on lower power than they will be come switchover).

Try manually tuning to Ch31 for HD services from Crystal Palace now.

I appear to have a "single frequency interference" problem covering the ITV1 etc multiplex which began on Thursday 17th Jan. I have a Humax PVR-9300T freeview box and a roof ariel directed towards Crystal Palace. I have followed the instructions to clear all channels on the box and reset but am unable to reconnect the ITV1 multiplex. On the TV in the bedroom with integrated Freeview the same channels are black. Please help if poss.

I am in East Barnet and have no usable signal Since 17/1/12 (from the Crystal Palace transmitter) for Mux 2 or A (C22 & C32). Do I have to wait until April's switchover for a viewable signal for the ITV channels or Channels 4 or 5?
I've retuned my Sony SVR-S500 several times but always giving single frequency interference on these channels. We can't be the only household without satellite in North London, so is this widespread? And if so is anyone considering addressing the problem?
Thanks
Tony

@ Tony Birkby
We've also been having major reception issues since around the 18th... Living in the SE16 area and the same issue follows me when using a set top box or my TV's built in tuner (also tried an internal aerial as well as the usual roof mounted one, both of which previously gave perfect reception!)

There must be a larger problem that's going on unaddressed here!
