Since late yesterday afternoon I have been unable to receive Freeview channels from Channel 4 onwards. I can still see the BBC channels but not 5, 5* etc. - I am shown a note indicating a Bad Signal or Scrambled channel. If I try and retune I pick up many channels from Digitenne and even if I manually delete these I still have issues. I have tried a manual tune but if I try Ch25, CH22, Ch28 etc. I do not receive anything. I am Aldershot based and receive the signal from London.

DAVE: If you are receiving your signal from Crystal Palace then you only have a short time to wait until it switches over to high powered operation in early April (BBC on 4th & 18th for remaining muxes) when its almost guaranteed that your reception will receive a massive boost to the extent that you may then have to fit an attenuator in line with your aerial to avoid the effects of overloading on your sets tuner.
Your present problem is likely being caused by the current wave of high pressure across the country and which is causing problems with reception in all sorts of areas, needless to say no cure to this is really possible except to wait until the present situation reverts to normal.

I lost all signals for the lower channels on Saturday and Sunday night. What do I pay my license fee for? Come so called 'digital TV' get it right. This is not the first time and has been going on long enough. I'm ready, are you?

The aerial - only a couple of months old and installed by a TV aerial company - is on the roof. Our change-over starts early April here. The stations are lost no only on freeview, but on analogue too. Last night only lasted about 15/20 minutes but the last time was over more than an hour.

We lost Mux 1 at 9pm last night (Sunday 25 March) on both TV and PVR. Tried rescanning but could not get them back. Lost Mux 2 half hour later. That kept coming back and disappearing again.

How come whenever I log on to this site the front page referencing Crystal Palace always says "this transmitter has no current problems and there are currently no engineering works". Its ALWAYS the same old bullshit story and Im fed up with it! They must be doing something, the sun or strange weather phenomena do not make one MUX go completely down, while others are running perfectly. Always seems to be CH 22, so what the **** is going on?!

I live in Peckham which is only 5 miles away from Crystal Palace. Mux2 (Channel 22) started giving poor signal quality from a few weeks back and now I'm not getting any signal at all even though signal strength is good.
All other channels (Muxs) are fine giving me signal quality of 95%. Why is is it Mux 2 keeps failing and down for so long ?
