David Parker: I know exactly what you mean regarding the lost hour, as it totally upsets my own routine, anyway as promised this is the link that I was unable to include last night.

David Parker,
Well done on the deal, at least you got some compo for the messing about you had to do haha.
I suggest having a quick 'Google' on the Alba unit first, to see what, if anything, has been posted.
It's always worth a bit of research these days because it is so easy online.
Best of luck and glad you got your refund.

Is this site updated 24/7? I have two TVs, since yesterday evening there's been NO SIGNAL. I have repeatedly done all of the steps to rescan, I have changed the aerial setup, I have used the signal booster then tried it without, I bough a new cheap TV just in case, to check-- Nothing. Simply NO SIGNAL. No channel, DTV, ATV, whatever. Indoor antenna, communal buidling antenna, no antenna, whatever--NOTHING. Everything worked perfectly since September, every channel, no issues-- then suddenly all gone.
Is it really possible that the transmitter is OK???

Joseph K: Whilst it has been known for small relay stations to go off the air without the broadcasters being aware of it it is safe to assume that, with a transmitter the size of Emley Moor, the engineers would be made aware immediately if any problem occurred, not to mention complaints from a sizable number of viewers. The BBC status reports no problems, so it is reasonable to start checking the receiver, the communal antenna and associated cabling etc. Have the neighbours also lost their tv signals?
