Ian: Yes, the feed for the transmitter has been switched from "ITV1 London" to "ITV1 Granada" at switchover, see above.

Becky: Thanks David and Briantist-I used a 'one for all' amplified indoor aerial-with a new tv.Before I used this aerial I tried the tv into the normal aerial socket in the wall. I queried the lack of signal with a warden at the halls of residence who said that the reception was 'rubbish'! The tuning actually picked up 3 analogue channels but with very poor picture quality. As I think this was all before the switchover was wondering whether it would be worth traveeling back with the tv to try again-is it likely that the signal is going to improve? As you may have guessed I am not very technical!

Iam still getting analouge channels on my freeview tv although they are fuzzy,
i thought emley moor tranmitter went off early
wednesday morning i live in barnsley.

Hi,
Just a quick update - I was the person in Leeds city centre unable to get ITV/C4/C5/HD channels etc. Today I can get everything and am very happy :)
Quite a lot of unoffensive black screen dropouts on the BBC HD channel (haven't watched much else yet), though I believe this can be fixed by firmware for my TV.
