Is COM7 working?
I get usable reception of COM7 Crystal Palace off the back of the aerial but although COM7 Hannington shows a higher signal quality I can't see any programmes at all from Hannington.

I think the problem I asked about above is just some Microsoft weirdness in my media PC. It's the only DVB-T2 receiver I have at the moment.

BBC red button facility is available on Hanningtons standard definition tranmissions but Is there any reason why I am unable to access the red button facility on Hanningtons BBC HD transmissions?

Phil: yes, there is a reason. The red button services are not carried on the HD multiplexes at this time.

Is com7 live now on Hannington? I live in Bracknell and I have been trying to tune in BBC 4 HD from Hannington. I have a very good signal on all the other Freeveiw channels from Hannington but my TV and both my PVRs resolutely fail to find BBC 4 HD and the other com7 channels. I am wondering if it may be my aerial; I am not sure but i think it may be a group B aerial and looking at the info on this site it seems that maybe I need a group W aerial to reliably receive com7 from Hannington. And if I switched go a group W aerial would I still get good reception on the other channels from Hannington

Rob: Some boxes have had problems tuning in both HD muxes, especially those using a Vestel chipset. Try doing a retune/first time installation with the aerial out, then manually tuning in the normal 6 muxes (not sure if you're using Crystal Palace or Haddington) using the manual retune option - do not tune in the COM7 mux!

See if that works, and if it does, then you probably need the software update that has came out for the Vestel boxes.
