I receive Freeview in RH150AR from Heathfield and seemingly too frequently (about once or twice every other weekend) get the screen instruction to retune. Is this to be expected or is there an issue that either you or I need to address?
Regards

i need some help. I am in the bn22 area of Eastbourne pointing towards heathfield. I can get most channels but on uhf 52 I can receive bbc1-3 but not bbc4 cbbies bbc news24 and the red button channels. if I do a new installation it will not receive those channels either, if I manual tune uhf52 I can pick them all up but then I knock out other channels from uhf 41-42-44-49 as though they wont save to the freeviews memory. if I auto install after manual instal of uhf52 I then loose the news channels again and bbc4 but keep bbc 1-3
What is going on?

just to answer my own question I think I have solved this issue with the channels.
I deleted some of the other channels that are not used like bt vision and a few of the ones from the 700 area and then rescanned manual on uhf52 and hey presto the channels have appeared and saved onto the listing. it looks like the TV`s memory was full and just leaving out the ones it couldn't get on.

We are experiencing severe interference on channels covered by the Com4 SDN Mux. We have carried out the reset procedure to no avail. The interference only affects one of the two TV's in the house. Any ideas?

N Wood:
Have you tried swapping the TVs over? Is the problem still showing on just the one set in the position currently having problems? If yes, then suspect cables or aerial if you have separate aerials for each location, if no then suspect a possible TV fault.
Do you have 2 aerials or just one? If you have just one aerial feeding both sets, then it is quite likely associated with the section feeding the affected TV set - the part of the feed that is not shared by the TV that is working correctly. If they are fed from separate aerials with separate downleads, then it could potentially be either an aerial or cabling problem. In both cases, check the cables feeding the affected TV location and ensure they are undamaged and of good quality with effective screening. If in doubt, replace the cables and connectors feeding that TV with good cables, not cheap ones.

Poor reception in Ashford area over last couple of weeks. Has the power from the transmitter been reduced ? I know there was maintenance work week beginning 04/11/13 but problem of bad reception still exists.

Andy:
It would appear that MUX COM4 SDN is not transmitting at the moment. All other chanels appear to be OK. What is frustrating is that there is no obvious way of reporting the problem.
Problems can't be fixed if no one report them!
