We are off of the Malvern Transmitter. Following last nights storm, we have 'No Signal' this morning, and our Bravia is unable to find any channels. Our areial is a wideband mounted on the roof. We do have a booster in the loft to amplify the signal. Is there work going on with Malvern Transmitter? Cannot understand why we have lost our signal?

Hi

I live in Worcester WR2 4PB area (18 element on roof at Malvern TX) and have noticed that Mux A (Ch 38 etc) has been breaking down (blocking) over the last 3-4 days. I re-tune regularly.

The other Muxs appear ok?

Appreciate any thoughts?

Regards

Glenn

Hi,
I live in Droitwich and similar to Glen's comment, Mux A has been breaking down and still was last night (9th June).
Regularly retuning but problem still persists.
Using a three arm aerial (Screwfix) on a 12 foot pole fitted to the end gable of the house.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Regards,

Keith

We are in the Shropshire area and I think our transmission comes from Ridge Hill. Up to Tuesday we had a strong signal with our existing aerial. As from last night we cannot get any channels at all with a "no signal" message. We have Sky+ connected in a downstairs room with no connections at all to the room with the Freeview TVonics box. On Tuesday we installed a new SKY+ HD box. Does anyone else have a problem with transmission from Ridge Hill, or could this be connected to the new Sky HD box?

Signal strength for Freeview covering ITV1, 2, 3, Channel Five, Channel 4 and several others is pretty much non-existent at the moment (since 22 June), and this is the 2nd prolonged period where digital signal for these channels has been total rubbish. Is this what I can expect permanently when the digital chageover occurs in September? If so what is the point of disconnecting the analogue signal if digital channels won't be receivable. I have the appropriate aerials, set-top box and also a new TV with an internal Freeview tuner which doesn't pick most of the ITV based channels. Any ideas?
