Richard Worthington: Here goes:

1) No, aside from the time it turned off during DSO1.

2) Yes, see "Comparison of analogue and digital signal levels" at the top of the page, all go from 200W to 400W, an increase of 3dB.

If you have Windows 7 Media Center, make sure you do a full "delete all channels" before you scan again, Media Center will get very confused otherwise.

Hey there,

Since the re-tune on 7th Sep, Ch 53 (all BBC) is rubbish. Both signal strength and quality are very poor. Everything was fine pre re-tune and all other chnnels are ok. Is anyone else having similar problems?

I have re-tuned again, checked the physical connections and turned the in-built booster off, all to no avail. Am I missing something, as it's getting to be a massive pain in the backside?

TIA, Andy (Malvern - on the Malvern Transmitter).

Yes, it's just the BBC stuff on that channel. The interference angle was one I hadn't looked at, but I can find nothing in the house that could be causing the problem - no skybox, have checked all other devices in the immediate vacinity and I can't think of anything else in the hereabouts that could be causing an interference problem. Bit of a nightmare at the moment.

Since the initial start of changeover on the 14th September, have retuned Humax PVR 9300T several times, completely missing ITV chanels and BBC reception poor, cutting in and out. On evaluating signal strength, varies continuously from 0 to 70%, and quality hovers around 40%. This is making the TV unwatchable. Have digital aerial and cabling for past couple of years, and had little problem until now. Any ideas?

Since the retuning on the 14th September, I have lost all of my channels. I have tried using an aerial booster and it has made no difference.

My postcode is OX15 0TA and my freeview box is a Thomson DTI6300. Any help at all please, I don't want to miss the rugby tomorrow as well!
