Thanks to Chris SE for the full reply, amongst other things I'd missed the "detailed view" button.

John H:

The Planned Engineering link now redirects correctly.
New pdf's with the 2020 clearance events are now available - including Yorkshire!!
However, the Yorkshire Region on the Detailed View page is still "not found"!

A lot of the Sony channels were moved by Sony to Local multiplexes back in the summer. If you aren't getting the Bristol TV channel at LCN7 then you can't be receiving the Local multiplex. You could try a manual retune on UHF30 to see if you can pick it up, but it's not available in all areas.

Some old links for the 700MHz clearance now redirect correctly. Also a tip when loading Channel listings | Freeview - clear your browser cache first or simply press <ctrl>F5 to make sure it loads the current version - it may have updated the Film4+1/More4+1 changes sooner than I thought, it has already updated the E4+1 change. On the 20th there's apparently going to be a change for PBS America and a +1 variant.

Freeview channel allocations seem to be changing at a furious rate. A few weeks ago I copied the channel allocations from Channel listings | Freeview . PBS America had disappeared, and the list I copied said it was on COM8 which is transmitter channel 56. I manually re-tuned today, but this gave me PBS+1 ! When I went back to the Freeview list, PBS is now on ARQ B. I had similar problems on other missing channels. It seems like Freeview are determined to make retuning as difficult as possible!

It's not Freeview making these changes, it's the broadcasters themselves (Freeview do it on their behalf). The changes give greater coverage as COMs 7&8 are not receivable in all areas.

It's worth keeping an eye on Service updates | Freeview where they should post information of such changes - but sometimes they can be a bit slow!

You have the mux names incorrect in the frequency table for 27th Feb 2018.

You have two lots of com7 and com8 muxes listed. The ones incorrectly placed at channels 33 and 35, should be ArqA and BBCB respectively.

As has been said quite a few times round here (see previous posts) the site owner has not had the time to keep up with all the 700MHz clearance changes. There are 1100+ transmitters in the UK. See my post at the top of this page (p203) for detailed information.

I was hoping the latest changes to the Mendip transmitter would bring back some channels that in recent years have been lost or removed.
Ch 48 - Sony Channel & bring in Ch 50 - Sony Movies Classic.
Is there any chance that these channels will return to the Mendip transmitter soon?
Charlton Musgrove area on the fringe of South Somerset & North Dorset border with aerial in my loft for over twenty years.

Sony decided to move all their channels onto the local multiplexes last year. To determine whether you might be abkle to get them we need a full post code as the Freeview serviced=s require that before it will show anything useful for you.
