BRUCE RICHARDSON: If the "South" programming you are referring to is being picked via television () then you must surely be receiving it from .

From Croughton, both Hannington and transmitters are on bearings less than 10 degrees apart. As Hannington uses lower UHF (frequencies) it will be picked up first during the and receivers may default to it.

Try running the scan with the unplugged for the first 50% in an effort to miss out Hannington and get Oxford.

Does your BBC1 South programme include news at 6.30pm?

The only RT available could be the wrong one. The newspaper industry has always had problems keeping up with TV regions in this area.

Dennis : You did run a retune your TV/ box/recorder after 6am on Wednesday didn't you ? The that carries ITV3 (SDN) moved from UHF 62 to UHF Channel 50 to allow for 4g mobile phone. The best method is to do a factory reset on your TV then retune from scratch. In fact if anything ITV3 now seems to have a slightly better than it did before.

On equipment which allows manual retuning, I manually tuned to UHF 50 and stored the search results. This avoids the problem of accidentally tuning to an unwanted transmitters.
