Mr K: If you bypass the splitter and everything is OK, you can then just replace it with a "Y-connector".

I am experiencing considerable signal breakup on all bbc channels (including red button) but the signal on all other channels is good. Is there any reason for this, and if so is there a fix ?

Despite previous mentions of ITV West I seem unable to find this.
I have all channels functioning very well, (and all the snap crackle and pop removed now), and also HD, but can't find ITV West on my Humax PVR or two TVs. ITV Central of course works correctly.
Location: Cheltenham
Any ideas?

Steve Maynard: If you had reliable Freeview reception before switchover, you probably now have too much signal. Remove any boosters, and if that doesn't help, try adding an attenuator.
I can check the estimated signal levels if you provide a full postcode.

Mike P : As you live in Cheltenham it may well be that the ITV you are now getting on Channel 3 IS ITV West.
If so, you'll find Midland ITV (Birmingham oriented) on channel 801 (50,1.37)

Following DSO at Ridge Hill, I have re-scanned all of our digital TVs but the COM6 channels are missing?
