Just a quick correction Brian. COM7 on channel 32 started yesterday the 8th April 2014 and not COM8 as currently shown. As expected, signal strength down on other multiplexes but still very adequate.
Keep up the good work.
Regards

DaveCheltenham: Thanks for the message.
I have corrected the database: com8 now says "starts sometime during 2014".

We keep having to retune tv to get bbc channels. Itv is fine but bbc keeps dropping out. The aerial is on the roof pointing at Ridge Hill. It is particularly bad at the moment and we can't get bbc at all. Post code is GL19.

Hi, some help would be appreciated. I have a Humax Box and have recently been experiencing signal problems on various Freeview channels, but not all. This problem is intermittent and comes and goes. The channels affected are listed below, in case this might be a transmitter issue. Or could it be 4G interference? I have re-tuned the box manually on several occasions. My post code is GL51 3AA and the aerial is on the roof. Thoughts/help would be appreciated... Thanks Chris
Channels affected: all HD,10, 19, 20, 24, 30, 31, 37, 47, 61, 83, 302. All other channels are fine.

Chris Farrell: have you checked your signal strength? Your about 33km from the transmitter, and Humax have a reputation for sensitive tuners. I live in Cheltenham and have a high-gain wideband ariel directed NW at Ridge Hill. Unfortunately (as well as receiving DVB transmissions from Ridge Hill on C21, C22, C24, C25, C27, C28, C29, C30 and C32) transmissions from the much further away Wrekin transmitter on C23 and C26 can be decoded which throws the channel allocation in my TV - i.e. weaker Wrekin-sourced versions of channels are given preference over stronger Ridge Hill multiplexer-transmissions of the same channels.
So I no longer retune the TV using automatic mode and have resorted to nominating individual channels (not including C23 and C26) when retuning the set.
Are there plans to overcome this undesirable transmission competition from weaker further-away transmitters?

KC: You have overcome it by manually tuning!
I presume your question about "plans" relates to the automatic tuning sequence. How could it possibly be overcome??!!
