Salisbury
ITV 1, Channel 4, 5 ITV 2 and misc other channels have been down for the past 24 hrs.
Is there problem with the local transmitter.

How long is the Salisbury Tx problem going to continue???? started Wednesday and ongoing. Will i need to upgrade aerial ???SP5 4JZ

Lee: "Over the next week Salisbury relay: TV (analogue) Liable to interruption, TV (digital) Liable to interruption" means the planned works on the transmitter will continue all week.
Please, as they used to say, do not adjust your set.

Engineering transmitter work will take place between 09:30hrs and 18:00hrs.
TV services that will be disrupted:
Analogue services - BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and Five will be subject to periods of shutdown.
Digital services - Mux1, Mux2, MuxA, MuxB, MuxC and MuxD will be subject to periods of shutdown.

Hi. I live in SP2 8EG area of Salisbury and am very confused about lack of signal to my new Sagecom PVR. I bought it yesyerday as I assumed my old PVR had died! I appreciate that there is "engineering" works on the Sals transmitter, however I have lost itv etc on the PVR, but still get them on my panasonic viera tele which is feed through the PVR! Any help in explaining this greatly appreciated.

Ofcom's 'Table of Digital Stations for Multiplex Licences' shows Mux D on C52 running at 640 watts since 28 September 2011. This is presumably to deal with the added interference from Mendip ArqB moving to this channel on the same date.
