Do you know why we don't receive Anglia ITV1 SD anymore via Freeview, but can receive its Plus 1 version an hour later?
We have had to switch to ITV1 HD but this is Meridian, not Anglia, even though we live in Northamptonshire. Do you know why that is the case?
We are tuned to Sandy Heath transmitter and have a strong signal.
Note I have seen many posts with the same issue, so it isn't our equipment.
We have reset & retuned but still no change
This suddenly happened whilst we were watching the channel around 1:00 am on the 27th August.
It did come back for an hour or so a few days later then disappeared again

This is the first I've heard about this. I found this thread on a forum about Humax devices (not affiliated with Humax):
ITV - SD has disappeared My Humax Forum
Is yours a Humax?
That said, if it's a Humax box then what about the TV?

DARREN AMOS:
Just FYI, the reason you see Meridian on HD is because ITV currently only distribute 4 major regions in HD. Down in the SW they get Central!
We are still waiting for ITV to roll out the individual regions in HD as the BBC did last year!

Anne Moorley: There is planned engineering work affecting the Sandy Heath transmitter this week. Do not attempt to retune whilst you have no signal as you risk deleting all of your correctly tuned channels.

As per the post before yours, the transmitter is subject to Planned Engineering.
Do NOT retune whilst you have weak or no signal or badly pixelated pictures. The usual result is to just clear you correct tuning.
As you haven't given a full postcode we can't check your predicted reception or whether you could be vulnerable to interference from new/upgraded phone masts using 700MHz.

I live in Clophill, Bedfordshire, MK45 4BH. I believe that I receive my Freeview signal from the Sandy Heath Transmitter.
When viewing ITV 1 on channel 3 in SD the regional news is Anglia, which is our region. When viewing ITV 1 on channel 103 in HD the regional news is Meridian, which is not our region.
If both channels are on the same multiplex why this difference?
Please answer by email.

Gerry Tivers: ITV1 HD has not yet been fully regionalised on Freeview, this has been said elsewhere to be due to ITV waiting for existing contracts to expire. ITV1 HD is broadcast on the PSB3 multiplex alongside BBC1 HD, BBC2 HD, Channel 4 HD, Channel 5 HD and a few others. ITV1 SD is broadcast on the PSB2 multiples alongside Channel 4 SD, Channel 5 SD, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, ITV Be, E4, More 4, Film 4, etc which is fully regionalised for both ITV1 and Channel 4.
