Christine Frost - If you have several TVs that used to work and now all don't it is probably either your aerial or a transmitter problem.

What experience do others locally have.

Is anyone else having problems with lost channels on the COM4 block (e.g. ITV3 on ch10)???

My Mum is reporting this (on Sandy Heath) after retuning this week. She hates anything technical so asked me to help but I know nothing about Freeview (only have Sky, no terrestrial) - saw the stuff about channels above and got her to try only channels on COM4 and she doesn't have them either. Everything else (she watches) seems OK.

murf: ITV3 (epg 10) is now operating on high power from Sandy Heath on SDN mux channel 51 but has only been doing so since early yesterday morning, so I suggest that a complete reset should be made on whatever she is using followed by another auto-tune being carried out.

If she doesn't live local to you then ask her to remove the aerial and carry out an auto-tune without it as that will blank out anything stored, then reinsert the aerial again and carry out a final auto-tune and that will load the channels back in again.

Nigel,
Try a manual tune of channel 48.
This may get them saved.
Are you picking up Waltham on that TV as you may have those channels from there and the Sandy ones in the 800's.

I am in Northampton on the Sandy Heath transmitter - I have read a few of the posts here and am experiencing the same problem as a number of other people. Since the work was done on 9th, I have re-retuned my TV numerous times each day but am still missing a good number of channels i.e. ITV3, 5*, 5USA etc. all of which I had previously. I have followed the suggestions and re-tuned with the aerial unplugged then re-tuned with it plugged back in but still no joy.

Lisa: Carry out a "factory reset" sometimes called "default setting" or "first time installation" dependant on equipment, BEFORE carrying out another auto-tune, as ITV3 from Sandy Heath changed to Mux channel 51 on the 9th as well as its power increasing to 170kw from the reduced power it had been running on.

Another point is, that due to your location you might be picking up signals from an alternative transmitter, and so if after carrying out what I suggested you still cannot receive ITV3 reset the TV again and follow this by manually tuning in Ch51, giving an update on results as well as the model of TV or box you are using.
