StevensOnln1: Nice. I have remote access to my PVR (but not my STB) so I can work around the LCN changes for now. Thanks for your help.

mux55 and 56 have always been useless but now we have a month or more of zero to intollerable
on 42 and 43 with about an hour barely watchable a day (in the evening only)
right now we have 50% power and zero quality - the other muxes are fine
42 and 43 went out about a month ago and took most of the channels worth watching with them.
Have they changed equipment or something?
(No - its not us- we ar e not alone)
what IS going on?

There is no reported problem with the Sutton Coldfield transmitter. If there were then over a million people would be complaining. So it is rather more likely that either you have a fault with your equipment or else there is a problem with local interference. So please check all your aerial cables and unplug all the coaxial connections and refit them.

Robert Burns: Sadly True Entertainmentr have changed MUX which they transmit on, they now broadcast on the local MUX, the one which Made in Birmingham transmits on. If you can receive channel 7 Made in Birmingham then you should be able to receive them, sadly if you cannot receive channel 7 then they will be unavailable to you.

Richard Harris:
Yes, there is a local mux from Sutton Coldfield. There's another on UHF36.
Put your postcode into Digital UK - Coverage checker to see what you are likely to receive.
