Mark I have set my TV to only have analogue at the moment (disconnected my Digibox) and now there is only C4 and C5 on. BBC1 and ITV have gone. BBC1 went just as the film staretd at about 1145.

BBC1 analogue at Thetford and presumably also Tacolneston, went off at 23.48. I was feeling nostalgic and taking a photo of a Ceefax page and realised at the same time that the Ceefax clock wasn't changing. I then suddenly realised that the normal picture and sound had gone. Fortunately my TV held the Ceefax page for the camera which was rather handy. With the time now at about 00.05 CH4 has just gone off and I've found that ITV has also gone. The end of an era for East Anglia.

Tim C.Thank you very much for filling me in and every other Tacolneston freeview viewers,as far as analogue closedown on the old Taccy mast is concerned.The next stage now turns to the low powered pre-digital Mux's 2,A,B,C,D which here too are due for switch off on Taccy's old mast.On the new mast very soon the new high powered mux's SDN on fr 42,ArqA on fr 45,ArqB on fr 50,D3+4 on fr 59,BBCB (HD) on fr 62 will soon all be gradually turned on,joining BBCA on fr 55 that was already switched on 2 weeks earlier on the new Taccy mast.

Interesting I just lost C5 on Freeview C4 also went. I did a factory reset after the analogue signal was switched off and they were all OK.
Just doing another reset and rescan now.

Thanks Mark, I didnt realise there would be a time when channels were not available. looks as though the mux switching is happening now, I just did a rescan and C4 and C5 are not showing, I think the scan reported 47 channels found and the one I did a few mins after analogue reported 85.

Also by the way let me apologise for getting my predictions that i posted on Tue 22 Nov 2011,6:22pm somewhat incorrect.Only my forecast of BBC1 analogue going first and Channel 4 analogue going third or second last (penultimate) were correct,the rest were wrong such as the timings,Sorry folks !

Interesting happenings with freeview now, last scan only gave 10 channels. I wonder if the Postcode reference info has not been updated yet? on my digibox it give start frequency of K21 474mhz and End of K68 850mh (looks OK to me).
Time for another scan I think.
