hi..can u settle an argument..has tacolneston been doing tests for the hd launch later this year..a collegue says he had bbc1 hd itv hd for a few hours last week but now they have gone but he still has the channel markers on his set

smeghead: There are no "test transmissions" of any service ahead of switchover, mainly because they will use the current analogue transmission frequencies.
Look above and the BBCB (Freeview HD) multiplex is set to broadcast on the current BBC One analogue frequency.

Over the last week BBC HD and BBC1 HD have disappeared from my Freesat, with the message NO SIGNAL. ITV1 HD is still received. Is this universal?

Just moved to Eye Suffolk and can get no freeview and only fuzzy analogue. Apparently previous occupiers had no problems with digital using the same aerial. Which transmitter am I aiming at?

You are served from Tacolneston near Norwich so your aerial should be pointing pretty much directly North.
We are in Wickham Skeith and can receive ALL Freeview TV & radio stations
