Thanks Dave. I did mean Fenton is impossible at my daughter's location. All the aerials in her location face The Wrekin apart from the odd one or two that face Sutton Coldfield. It's strange it is only COM4 & COM5 that are affected and not COM6 as well.

Betamax_man: Different frequencies (UHF channels) are affected in different ways when they pass through/over objects which is why you get situations where not all signals are received at the same levels.
You may have experienced this if you ever used a set-top aerial with analogue reception. It was a case of putting the aerial in a location that allowed reception of all channels. Some may have been better than others.

I live in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, and I can't get any signal at all on CH44, I've had some aerial guys out and I've tried a 22dB gain booster but I've had no improvement, apparently my aerial checks out fine. Should I get a second opinion on that or try another signal booster?

Phil..
What is ch47 like as this one and ch44 that you are having trouble with are only 10kw, the other multiplexes from the Wrekin are 20kw power.

Hi Sid, it is only CH44 I'm missing, all of the channels on that multiplex and none of the others on any of the other multiplexes, bit of a mystery!

Janet Rothwell: If you are connected into a communal dish system then you should make an enquiry with someone else in the apartment block as its possible that there's a fault in the distribution system rather than in your particular apartment.
Check you connection cables though!
By the way, is that your correct post code?

"The The Wrekin (Telford and Wrekin, England) mast is not one of the extended Freeview HD (COM7 and COM8) transmitters, it does not provide these high definition (HD) channels: Al Jazeera HD, BBC Four HD, BBC News HD, CBeebies HD."
If these channels are not available to me why am I paying the same amount for my TV Licence as those that do ??
I am being penalised for living within the wrexin transmission area which is not on.

Hi Fairly new to the Freeview, I have a View 21 freeview box which I recently bought as Sky was simply a rip off for me!
Currently testing the system on an indoor aerial and get 20 channels, however, I am interested in knowing what aerials folk in the area of TF13QF use to get the full compliment of freeview channels?
Best get the opinion on what works locally before I go and spend more cash only to find it is not the best solution lol.
Thanks
Craig
