Bit more tweaking and I managed to pull in a fairly decent Notts TV (LNG) but only if I switch my TV recorder off, it is that sensitive if I switch it on I lose the picture.
However it could just be a temporary thing as I have had it before and lost it, but the aerial is adjusted a lot better since then so I hope I have it watchable permanently, I now have all the T1 channels on Waltham, touch wood.

I note there a change of ariel type in march 31st to AK from W
What is happening? In particular regard to the power levels of the
signal already in the AK range which are low powered compared to the rest.

Some programmes are due to be moved, though I'm not sure when it will happen at Waltham nor which channels are being moved. The best solution is to have a log-periodic aerial fitted as that will cover all the future changes envisaged.

Bren: The frequency changes taking place at Waltham can be seen on the Digital UK checker by clicking the transmitter's postcode at the top of this page. If you already get good reception of COM4/SDN on UHF channel 29 then your existing aerial should be fine after the frequency changes have taken place as this appears to be the lowest UHF channel that Waltham will use.

Well I am not fine, I expect I would lose Sky News and I have. It was moved. I cant get it any
more, there was poor info about it. Yes I have lost com5 I am not sure why I got confuse about
the whole thing.

OK panic over!! I got com5 back and SKY news. I watch Sky news 90% of the time so it would be a
big loss for me! I adjusted the aerial a bit. It is a good picture but it has a higher bit error level on it, it
was 0 before but the picture looks fine.
There are more changes coming those which I mention in an earlier post which may give problems,
I guess I will fined out when it happens. OK for now though.

Bren: Have you tried a manual tune on UHF channel 37 (the new frequency which COM5 has moved to on Waltham)? Official information can be found at the link below, along with details of the Freeview Advice Line, who can arrange a free visit from an accredited installer if you need a new aerial following the frequency changes (provided you don't have satellite/cable on any TV in your house).

StevensOnln1, I retuned the whole lot. I have just watched to SKY News which is show about as on
c56 but my TV shows it as on c37 freq 602mHz which is COM8, or rather was! com5 moved to
where com8 was. It is no wonder I get confused with all this!
The info on the freeview site is poor, it does not show what mux the channels are on etc..
This site needs updating too, Sky News is not longer on COM5
I seem to be OK now maybe I can tweak the aerial a bit to optimise signal levels, it is loft aerial.
Also I cant get 55 5STAR+1, 86 More4 1, 95 Freesports, 96 Forces TV, which are supposed to be on
com 8 going by the info above, I can get sky news which is on com8 but shown as on com5 above.
So all very confusing!!

Bren: Why do you care what mux things are on - just do a straight retune. Thats exactly what I did, and since I'm on Waltham, I know that it works, including stuff like Forces TV.
Checking your signal strength might be a good idea - if you are missing a mux, that sounds like you've got a problem with your system.
