Dominic Payer (CC40): With regards to that said being quite true, but as far as I understand it CC40 was experiencing the problem immediately after having manually tuned in Walthams PSB2 frequency and so waiting time wasnt really involved.

CC40: But though "if" you can receive Belmont at a reasonable strength then try scanning COM4 / Ch30 545.8Mhz or COM6 / Ch60 785.8Mhz as both of these channels have negative offsets on their frequencies.

Best deleting everything already stored before carrying out these tests.

FAO CC40.

I have exactly the same problem. It started for me at the same time as PSB1 moved at the end of May.

I have restored my Media Center to a previous disc image and the problem is still there. This leads me to believe that the problem is not with the PC.

One thing that I have noticed (see if you haev this) is that I have a strange VIDEO option on my info menu (i on the remote). This gives me the option to select one of 4 'videos', whatever that means.

I am at a loss with this.

Oh, and I have 2 Blackgold BGT3620 DVB-T2 tuners, which have worked faultlessly until now.

Given that you, and others, have the same problem as I do; I now have to answer the question 'Why does the TV work and the PC not?'.

To that I have no real idea. As far as I now PSB2 hasn't changed and I cannto see why the PSB1 move should have triggered this, if indeed it did.

Having said that I might have to might just have to wait and see what happens.

CC40: The PCTV 290e is a single tuner device. It offers both an SD and an HD tuner to WMC. Only the HD tuner should be enabled and configured in WMC.

DarrenG: Are only the DVB-T tuners selected and configured for your BG3620 cards?

I have 2 BG3620s in Keyworth and have no problems. My WMC is with Windows 8, but would not expect any difference with Windows 7.

There is a new beta driver for the 3620, issued 13 June 2013, on the Blackgold site.

Hi since this work started some weeks ago there has been an ever increasing problem with the Vodafone signal in the Sileby area (IE) LE12 7EF I'm wondering if this is a coincidence ?

Harry C: Yes it's a coincidence!

The Waltham transmitter is 13 miles away which is much further than mobile phone signals work across.

According to 'Sitefinder' Mobile Phone Base Station Database there is a Vodafone base station on Manor Drive where there is a mobile phone tower shown on Streetview. Sitefinder may not be up-to-date.

Has a building gone up between that base station and the area you have difficulty getting a signal in?

Harry C: At the same location, Sitefinder indicates there is an O2 3G base station. The O2 coverage checker indicates base stations and this one is shown, which may be an indication that it is still there.

The base station is at the front of Soar Valley Timber.

DominicP: If I understand your question, then yes. The cable tuners are not configured, just the DVB-T2 tuners. I tried disabling the tuners individually to see if one of them had a fault but they both worked fine on all the other multiplexes. Yes, I saw the new drivers and tried them - no effect unfortunately.

I find it odd that some people with different PC configurations have the same problem that I have but you are fine with the same tuners as me. Maybe there is a clue buried there somewhere...

It is very puzzling. If I did not get PSB2 at all (TV has 100% signal now) then I would have another thing to look into.

In my head I have kind of ruled out problems with reception as my TV is fine and so is your Media Center!

So, PC not changed.
Win7 MCE tunes all multiplexes.
Then PSB2 works intermittently.
Um....

My Media Center is a really quite 'vanilla' build. I only added iplayer and PowerDVD to play blurays.I have done a few minor tweaks but can't really see these being an issue but need to check. I don't really want to rebuild the PC but will probably now go for a 100% standard install, load the necessary drivers and try MCE/different PVR software.
