Norman Brooks: Keelylang Hill is a full service transmitter (I'm not sure what information you've seen to suggest that is isn't) broadcasting all six main multiplexes, including COM4 where Paramount Network can be found. If you already receive Drama on Freeview channel 20 then just retune and Paramount should appear on 57.

Just for my curiosity, could you answer a question regarding a HDD recording issue. Never, ever had an issue recording programmes, but Nov 29th to 4th Dec 2020, my Panasonic recorder recorded zero. Then, 5th Dec started again. We connect to Keeleylang, always a good signal for many years. All our TV sets worked perfectly during this period.
Thank you in advance for any light you can shed in my darkness!

Trevor Hill:
The issue might have been related to some possible corrupt data in the EPG.
Whilst I don't know if there was any such corrupt data that week, one of the regular posters here keeps an eye on the EPG from time to time, so there may be some information forthcoming.
According to the Freeview Detailed Coverage Checker you've got excellent reception, so it's nothing to do with that! I can't find any detail of any reported faults or Planned Engineering that week.
Whilst I don't know which Panasonic you are using, nor am I familiar with any of them, I am aware from other reports that a lot of Panasonics had these sort of issues a couple of years ago. It looks as though there was a firmware update which may have solved the problem at that time, but I've no idea if it was a "for all time" fix.
It would be worth you checking that you do have the latest firmware for your model.

Trevor Hill: My psychic abilities fail me. What programmes didn't record?
Supposition: Panasonic PVRs pay attention to DRM messages, which may have been altered.

Freeview EIT Invalid Character Codes:
To enable anyone interested to see these code errors for themselves, I have uploaded some programme clips.
The clips were recorded by Tvheadend, which happens to record the EIT along with the video and audio streams of the programme.
The full eight day programme schedule repeats every thirty seconds so that determined the clip durations.
The schedules can be seen by installing MediaInfo: MediaInfo - Wikipedia
Download: MediaInfo
Once installed, right clicking on a clip shows the media properties of that clip.
If an appropriate view is chosen, the events scheduled for the next week are also shown.
The included file "North West_BBC A__2020 12 14 053417.txt" shows the events with errors in the current EIT, as determined by my EIT parser.
Looking at those events using the "tree" view, square blocks are seen in the text at the positions of the errors.
If the "xml" view is selected, the events with errors are not displayed because the characters are not valid in xml.
In that case you will see a representation in binary.base64.
An online base64 decoder: Base64 Decode - Online Tool
I have included the MediaInfo.xml outputs for each clip.
