We have real problems getting decent signal here in the S edge of Hermitage. We are on a N facing hill so even though is there nearest , it is shielded from us by the hill. We are also surrounded by trees. Many times the breaks up and and then there's for some minutes. Any suggestions for improving would be gratefully received. As with most of our neighbours we have a good and -head .

Well it went again last night, again the strength on Mux 2 was Red 2 and on all the other Mux's between 7 and 10 amber to green.

The signal monitor for all was in the green at an average 8.

Note new info on what happens during and after published recently http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/binaries/broadcast/guidance/tech-guidance/Central.pdf

A few detail changes from above ie - and likely moving to ( clearance). Doubt if ever will be used for DTT, the docs state return to C/D group.

I'm currently at 100% on all muxes, when is raised (sometime after DSO, maybe after ?) I reckon a lot of attenuators are going to be needed...
