Ok, for HD to work make sure your areal socket is connected really well, I just sorted that out and am not enjoying HD without any issues.

Took me a while to figure out, my arial adapter was basically loose and all I needed to do was tighten the adapter.

Hi, I recently purchased a bush BTU160DTR solely to record from.On setting it up I discovered that I could watch and record all bbc transmisions but could not watch any itv because the programs kept stuttering etc.I thought i had got over this by stopping `pause live tv`on the box only to find that when i tried to record ITV progs I got the same thing, picture breaking up ,losing sound etc.BBC progs record ok and play ok.I get a reading of 8 on all signals on both tuners.I returned it to the shop and they tested it in front of me and everything was fine.Any suggestons please.I get signal from winter hill if that helps Thanks in advance Ray

I have just fitted a new aerial in the loft and live in postcode wn2. The signal map shows good coverage from the winter hill mast. I have no probs at all with the majority of tv signals but i love the multiplex 4 signals such as viva and more 4 in the evenings on just the upstairs television. Can you suggest wat the problem might be and how i can sort it? I also have a clear view of the mast so coverage isn't an issue

matt: Loft aerials are poor for reliable Freeview reception. I would suggest you move the aerial to the roof.

For the last 3 weeks mux D has been virtually impossible to get although it has never been no problems since switchover, the last week or so I keep losing quest, bbc1 and itv1 mux groups for varying periods.
I get no signal now at all instead of broken freezing picture when it started.

Nothing at all has changed with equipment etc, I've followed all the rescan's, cables etc.

When I test the signal it goes from 0 on strength and quality upto anything between 10 & 100% as though the aerial is being unplugged and plugged back in. I am wondering if its a problem with the box but its not every channel and only a year old.

I am near Ellesmere Port
