My BBC channels have all started to default to BBC1 from around 4pm yesterday - then it blinks and takes me to the BBCinteractive page. Very annoying and I spent hours resetting my Freeview Box to find out it's just a BBC fault. I can only watch BBC1 if I keep pressing Text or Exit every 3 minutes.

Sussex Customer, from Peter Cook. Answer seems to be if you want to watch BBC2, set it up to record before hand, let it start to record, then go into the record list and play from the beginning, BBC2 seems to record o.k.

@ Peter Cook
Problem resolved itself - if only they'd let us know, then we'd not have worried something was wrong with out TV !!
Thanks for your help and hope someone takes note that some customer relations would have been nice i.e. a warning.

I have 2 HD ready tv's...the one downstairs in lounge has intergated freeview and keeps losing ITV channels..and when they are there..very pixillated. The TV on 2nd floor with seperate Freeview box has no problems at all. Both run off the same roof aerial. Sometimes the tv in lounge decides to cut out or pixillate BBC progs. There are no other appliances connected to it, and none near it. This seems to happen for about 2 weeks every 2 or 3 months.
I am in the BN3 area of Brighton/Hove.
Any hints for damsel in distress???

@Viru - Have you tried a manual installation of those two muxes? If you set to Frequency 52 or 55 does your box allow you to see the signal strength?
If you're not getting either are you using a feeder transmitter that isn't broadcasting them yet?

@Josie - Running two receptors from one aerial can often lead to a poor signal. Have you tried plugging the 2nd floor box into the TV in your lounge and seeing if you get the same problem?
If so then it's probably the aerial connection; if not then the box may simply have a better tuner than the TV.
