Hopefully this is not seen to be a stupid question. I don't get a great reception and wanted to direct my ariel at the transmitter. How do I know what compass direction to put it in?

Hi I am hoping you can help.
Approx one month ago I started loosing bbc1 and bbc2 while all other channels work perfectly.
I have an aerial on the roof and FV built in to the tv.
At the weekend I lost STV too.
All other channels work fine. Is there anything you suggest I can do to strenghen the signal?

ANNE MOIR:Have you done a factory reset to clear the channel list, followed by a scan for channels? As from 6am today (1st June 2011) BBC1 and BBC2 are carried on Mux BBCA on C27. You will need to do another retune on 15th June 2011 for stage 2 of the switchover.
