Gaz: Sorry, I've just noticed that you posted at 2am, when all services were off. They should have been restored by 6am, so if you haven't retuned after that, try doing that first.

Graham Ellery: Hi Briantist. 15th is here and now another batch of channels have gone.So no sign of any improvement. See my/your comments 13th June. Perfect freeview on a wide range of channels pre-switch now down to a very limited range. So the benefit of the switchover is that we get less and less channels.

Graham Ellery: From the internet:re Craigkelly:
"The transmitter was originally an A group but has become a K group (or wideband) with the advent of Channel Five and Digital. Craigkelly is one of the few main transmitters which will not be returning to its original group at DSO. In fact after the switchover even less of its Digital output will be receivable on an A group aerial than is the case now, see Ofcom transmitter details".
So I had the right aerial but someone has subsequently decided that more convenient not to service these.
Why could none of the people I have spoken to , online chatted with , emailed and yourself Brianist not have been transparent.
on this. Clearly not interested in user service.

Restrictions on SDN, Arqiva A and Arqiva B multiplexes
There are no restrictions on the "commercial multiplexes" on the Craigkelly transmitter - however they will broadcast at 10kW, half of the power of the public service multiplexes and may be unavailable to those on the fringes of the reception area.
So not only are they not covering a band aerials they are not broadcasting at sufficient power to cover the area. The good news is the owners of 2 of these multiplexes plan to launch a new channel but probably not for my area?.

Is anyone actually receiving Ch 42,45,49 from Craigkelly yet?
In EH7 I'm getting Ch 21,24,27 fine this evening, but no hint of a signal at all on the others.
I did receive Ch 39,42 prior to full switchover, so I'm thinking this isn't due to my antenna group, or due to their lower power.
I saw it suggested somewhere on here that we may have to wait until next week when Black Hill starts transmitting these (relayed by Craigkelly), but then that doesn't explain why I can receive BBCB(HD) today. Can anyone confirm if this is accurate information?

Those are the frequency that my folks have had trouble with here in KDY. I'm getting them through a very good spec wide-band aerial and a signal booster. Seems a bit strange post DSO to lose channels, I thought power was getting turned up?

So now that the switchover has happened on Craigkelly I find I'm getting fewer channels on Freeview than I got before the switchover. I only seem to be getting channels 24 and 27 - no sign of anything else. When am I going to get all my channels back ?

Richard : I see from your earlier post that you would really like to have "Dave". This channel isn't currently available on "Freesat" due to contractual arrangements with SKY. It would be on "Freeview" from Blackhill if you can get it.

Hi
I am in the North of Edinburgh and have lost many Freeview channels, I am only getting most of the BBC channels along with Channel 5, More 4, E4, ITV 2 and a handful of radio channels.
I received about 70 channels before the switchover and I have been resetting my box and tuning regularly since yesterday. Is there anything else I can do?
Thanks
