We have several TV's on our roof aerial which has direct line of sight to the transmitter at Rowridge. However two weeks ago we lost all ITV Channels on one TV only, we have rescanned and added a booster direct to it which has boosted the signal from 46% to 74% and still the auto tune does not see those channels, jumping from channel 2 to 7. We previously had a good signal for those channels on all TVs,the TV affected has nothing else attached to it? Any ideas?

UHF channel 30 (containing Quest, Challenge, Gold, ITV3 etc) is showing low signal strength and giving poor reception in Bournemouth between town centre and Westbourne, close to the Wessex Way (BH2 6**) as of now.

Newly installed (by CAI approved) log parabolic roof aerial with masthead booster. I doubt it has direct line of sight as there are trees across the road.

We have a caravan park in Sandown IOW and cannot get a good picture is there any way this will improve as we seem to have lost a lot of signal strength for itv and chan 4 this year. We are running Group a and Philux megaboost with minimal success. We have a range of TV's from 20year old Matsui CRT (best picture) to LG 19"lcd purchased last year worst analogue and hardly any freeview

Hi, I am in Chichester . Tonight we have lost all channels on freeview. When they return the signal bars are approx 30 % max except for bbc Parliament which shows 90% + when all other channels have disappeared.Normally they all show a strength of 60% +.It is very annoying when this happens and strangely enough it always appears to happen on a monday night. We are puzzled as to why we lose all other channels when you would think that if we can get bbc parliament, we should get the other channels in this bundle. The aerial is set and freeview reset procedures have been tried which just results in us losing pre stored channels. At present we can switch to analogue but it is still very annoying.
We would be grateful if you could advice us.The aerial is in the loft and as we said normally gives a perfect signal so we are sure it is not our equipment as it is so random when it occurs. Last time this occured, the next morning all channels had returned with very good signal strength.

It was searching for a reason for the poor signal on the Rowrdige FM transmitter that I found this site several months ago. Briantist kindly explianed that it was being rebuilt. A few weeks ago the signal improved and sure enough, the info under the map said it was working OK.

At the weekend, I noticed that the signal had dropped off, and sure enough the info is now back to saying 'possible waek signal' (actually, it's a definite weak signal!).

Is it being rebuilt again, or are we suffering poor service for another reason?
Regards, John

John Ormerod: It is the same rebuilding. It takes quite a while to construct a new mast and move the equipment to it.
