Incidentally there *is* a frequency plan available through Digital UK at Postcode Checker - Trade View . It shows that the three PSB muxes rotate around (BBC A on C26, D3&4 on C29, BBC B/HD on C23) and ArqB will be on C40, not C50. This frees C50 for Pontop Pike which was to use C62, which will be released.

If Freeview power is to be increased more than 10 fold in September 2012, does this mean standard portable TV aerials will get good reception on all multiplexes?

Great site by the way.

Thanks.

Jeff: No, a rooftop aerial will still be required to receive a stable Freeview service.

robert binstead: Bit hard to say without a full postcode, but I suspect you did not do a "first time installation" when Oliver's Mount switched over. Try My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice please.

robert binstead: Just to add to what Briantist has said, you might have to manually tune in Olivers Mount multiplexes, as your other possibilities for reception (Bilsdale and Hunmanby) are all on lower Mux channels numbers.

Olivers Mount using - Mux Ch's 57 - 60 - 53 - 54 - 58 - 61 (Ch57 and 54 showing as variable)

Your aerial will also require to be turned slightly clockwise, as Bilsdale is at 285 degrees, Olivers Mount at 309 degrees. (using Filey post office as a marker)

Looks like Bilsdale's analogue transmissions were off-air overnight, while Emley Moor was switching. Nothing about this on the website though...

Thomas: Yes, from from 00:15 today to 02:22.

There seems to be a problem with the process that scrapes the BBC site for information, I have reset it, but it can take an hour for messages to reappear.
