We have reception via our Freeview box upstairs. But our integral Freeview downstairs has suddenly stopped since last week. We are missing whole sections .Ch 14 -28. ch 28- 33. Ch 32 - 7O Ch 71 -80.
Ch 82 - 102 . Our TV aerial is situated in our loft. Up until the above we have had perfect viewing from our set. We did disconnect the aerial downstairs etc last week whilst decorating. Could that have caused the problem? We have followed all the instructions regarding retuning etc. in the tv. booklet that accompanied our set. Thanks
We do not have Sky.

Baker: Although you have followed the retuning instructions on the TV's manual its always best to carry out a factory reset on the TV before proceeding with an auto-tune, as starting afresh gives a better chance of success when any odd problems have cropped up.
If by any chance you cannot see a factory reset option (sometimes called default scan) then first of all carry out an auto-tune with the aerial removed, then once complete reconnect the aerial followed by another auto-tune.

Is freeview now running at max strength from Mendip or will it be after march? I live in Worle not far from Weston-super-Mare and haven't noticed any power increases!
Regards
Gareth

Gareth Smart: No, sorry, not until Wednesday 28th March 2012. There was an error in the database flag and it wasn't showing the restrictions.
