Hi

I bought Technisat Freeview HD receiver recently. I also have LG 32" LCD HDTV. Both before and after switchover, I have a good reception of standard digital channels but when I tried tuning for HD signals using my Freeview HD box, it seems it can't detect it.
I tried manually tuning to 682 MHz but only have a very low signal and low quality as well (one red bar). I live in Crowborough area and I'm currently using 32 element digital tv aerial; quite similar to this SLx 27887K 32 Element Digital TV Aerial + Kit: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics The main cable is shared to 3 TVs around the house. Can anyone help me on this? Sorry for english, not my first language. Thanks in advance. (TN61DL)

I live in Crowborough, have a new LG TV and BT Vision. Before switchover I got several channels (though weather did interfere or make me lose some completely at times). However since switchover I can only get the BBC group & occasionally those on Channel 41 through my TV, without the BT Vision plugged in. On BT Vision I can only get the BBC group on Channel 52. I have tried the reset procedure on TV & Vision i.e. turning off, rescanning without aerial plugged in etc to clear all channels, then rescanning but no improvement. I only get maximum 38% strength on Channel 49 and no signal on other channels. Why is this? Do I need another aerial, mine is in the attic?

tina: If you have a booster, then you should remove it. This could be increasing your signal levels in excess of those that the BT Vision box (and any receiver) can handle.

paul: Ch42 (ITV3 etc) is operating on very low power (100wats) until the 27th of this month and so reception will be poor when compared to the other muxes operating on 4Kw. Unfortunately there isn't really anything that you can do but wait until that date when the situation will be rectified.

There is a communal aerial for both digital and satellite reception. The aerial is located well above the roofline and the dish is a 2 metre one and is wall mounted. After the switchover, I carried out the retuning on two Panasonic and one Sony dvd recorders and an LG HD tv all equipped with freeview. The result was that I got everything apart from BVD channels 41 and 44.Can anyone suggest a solution or should I wait for the next switch later this month.HELP!!!
