Gill Hall: There are six multiplexes in total, each is a single signal on at a particular frequency which carries multiple services.

The services you mention are all on the same multiplex (COM6: ArqB) and therefore carried by the same signal.

It could be that your aerial system needs some adjustment. It may be filtered so as to only allow the frequencies that are used by the transmitter. The COM6 multiplex from Heathfield uses a frequency not used before switchover, so maybe it is the aerial system that is blocking it.

It will be down to whoever is responsible for the aerial system to sort it out. Maybe that is your landlord.

Hello, I would like to receive Sky Sports on Freeview channel 41, but it appears Heathfield does not transmit this. Can anyone please tell me if there are plans to transmit Channel 41 in the near future, I would rather not have to install a satellite dish or go to Virgin Media. Many thanks.

Phil Hopkins: As Adrian Durrant says, you need Top Up TV, or it is available on BT Vision.

Strictly-speaking, Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 are not available on Freeview. "Freeview" is the brand name for the free-to-air digital terrestrial television (DTT) service. Sky Sports 1 and 2 are carried, encrypted, on the 81 full-DTT transmitters.

Hi Phil, If you've got a fairly new TV then you need this adapter CI+ Landing | Top Up TV but you would still have to pay to watch. (BN229BX)

RH16 3EF. Haywards Heath area. Roof mounted aerial. Sunday 9th September - intermittent picture freeze/break up on ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. Usual processes followed to no avail. Checked signal strength on menu. BBCA, SDN, ArqA and ArqB rock solid and steady at 95%, D3+4 fluctuating between 95% and 70% with occasional dips below 30%, coinciding with break up. Zero Bit Error Rate. Always steady signal level before. Is there a problem with this multiplexer?

I have been having problems as well with reception (Haywards Heath area) in the past week or two. It comes and goes. ITV, C4 etc goes first (ch 49), then the HD channels (ch 47). This afternoon the bbc channels went as well (ch 52 I think). Could it be weather related?

Hello Brian.
I`m curious as to why you`ve got Heathfield (post switchover) down as an E group ? Shouldn`t that be B group ?
