We are on freeview we get a lot of speech breaks and loss of the picture at times.
The aerial is on the roof. If we could go back to the old system I would. It was quicker to change programs and less hassle. We also have other friends with the same problems.

Gill Hall: There are six multiplexes in total, each is a single signal on at a particular frequency which carries multiple services.
The services you mention are all on the same multiplex (COM6: ArqB) and therefore carried by the same signal.
It could be that your aerial system needs some adjustment. It may be filtered so as to only allow the frequencies that are used by the transmitter. The COM6 multiplex from Heathfield uses a frequency not used before switchover, so maybe it is the aerial system that is blocking it.
It will be down to whoever is responsible for the aerial system to sort it out. Maybe that is your landlord.

Hello, I would like to receive Sky Sports on Freeview channel 41, but it appears Heathfield does not transmit this. Can anyone please tell me if there are plans to transmit Channel 41 in the near future, I would rather not have to install a satellite dish or go to Virgin Media. Many thanks.

Excuse me for butting in and admin will correct me if I'm wrong but I think you need to get a top-up TV box
Sky Sports, Sports Packs, Sky Sports 1 & 2 | Top Up TV (BN229DT)

Phil Hopkins: As Adrian Durrant says, you need Top Up TV, or it is available on BT Vision.
Strictly-speaking, Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 are not available on Freeview. "Freeview" is the brand name for the free-to-air digital terrestrial television (DTT) service. Sky Sports 1 and 2 are carried, encrypted, on the 81 full-DTT transmitters.
