Magnus Mackay: I think you're lucky to receive anything from Rumster Forest, so perhaps reception may be hit and miss.
C62 is due to move to C55 a week on Wednesday (24th April).

I live in Fraserburgh Aberdeenshire (AB439LA) served by the Rosehearty relay transmitter (less Channels), can I receive a watchable Youview/Freeview signal by pointing my aerial (roof) towards Rumster Forest or Durris

Freddy Hepburn: Probably not from Durris because the signal path (between it and you) goes through the highest point of Waughton Hill.
Rumster Forest, possibly, although be aware that receiving over such a large expanse of water could mean the signals received vary. A sudden mist could result in the channels being lost, for example.

Liz manson: STV2 was created by STV acquiring several local TV licences to broadcast to several cities across Scotland. There is no large town or city served by Rumster Forest so therefore no local TV licence was advertised for the area as it would not have been financially viable for any broadcaster to run a local TV service in an area of relatively low population. STV2 is available on Sky channel 117 across all areas which receive STV on 103, as well as via STV's website and smart phone/smart TV apps.
