Steven Huntington: Seeing as it's a wideband aerial, can you turn it, or have it turned, to face Pontop Pike instead?

It's not possible because of the shape of the block of flats that I live in, I hope this is the result of high pressure and it will go away when the weather changes.

Steven Huntington : When you refer to bedroom aerial and living room aerial are you meaning one aerial with two outlet positions? or are they separate aerials?
If you mean the former, then check what happens when you try your bedroom TV on the living room aerial, if the bedroom stops working then a problem exists with the feed to the living room socket, if though it does work in a fashion then this means that the signal level your devices are operating on is too low and requires boosting as the TV normally used in the living room is fitted with a less sensitive tuner than that used in the bedroom TV.
If on the other hand you are referring to different aerials? then why don't you just purchase a 2 way powered splitter and feed the bedroom TV's aerial into the splitters common input, and with one output from the splitter being run to the living rooms TV and the bedroom TV itself using the splitters other output.
Of course you should really test the signal strength being received at the two outlet positions on mux Ch46 by entering the tuning menu / manual tune and entering Ch46 but NOT followed by pressing search, as on most equipment the level the signal is being received at should be indicated, this test enabling a comparison to be made between the two outlet positions.
The bedroom TV being used for this test on both outlet points.

Granted at Eggleston I live on the fringe of programs from Bilsdale but since the power was increased at the change over I have been able to receive all the channels with excellent signal strengths. I can receive all the programs from Com5 which is only 50k output but since The Drama channel started on Com4 which again is 50k output I have little or no signal from any of the channels including ITV3 and ITV2+1 etc. I have carried out a setup retune but still no good. Why if Com4 is the same output has Com 5 cant I receive programs.

Having trouble with all the BBC TV channels and have done off and on since change over. I had a new arial fitted in my loft at change over. I never know whether BBC will work and it is the one I watch the most. This week is particularly poor with the whole screen breaking up. I frequently up- date my channels, but not in my case!
Didgital was suposed to make viewing better.
Please get back to me with an answer which is not going to cost me more money, I already feel I should have a re-bate on this years licence fee. I live in Filey NY which is suposed to be a good receptionea ar

I live at Eggleston DL12 0AQ. I have an aerial at an height of 10 metres on the roof of my bungalow. I am lucky enough to receive most programs at full strength on all channels from Bilsdale without needing an amplifier. My question is why can I receive programs on COM 5 Arqa which transmits at 50,000W but can't get a signal for programs from COM 4 SDN which also transmits at 50,000W. I use a group K aerial horizontally polarised. I have tried full retunes including manual retunes but no good.

I have recently purchased a new LG Smart TV. I live in DL9 4XG. My reception is via a free-view ariel. The signal I get on ch 103 itv hd is Granada Region. All other channels are received ok and show NE Region. Any ideas why this is happening?
