the simple answer is that your signal must be marginal rather than a good quality pass.

when signals are marginal they have periods of working correctly, usually during the day and when the atmospherics change, ie mornings and evenings then the signal drops slightly giving marginal signals issues such as loss of channels and pixilation.

the only resolve is to get your system professionally checked

Or if you know how you can first test the aerial, then the cable then any splitters amps then any outlets etc etc.

regards

No usable signal from Hannington this evening - had to watch Strictly via Internet. Checked all my kit, mast-head preamp PSU, checked both TVs, low signal strength and quality near zero.
nothing changed my end that I can detect - Hannington did this a while back, everyone said 'It must be you', nice to see others suffering from the same problem.
Perfectly usable signal yesterday and the day before etc.

I'm getting very poor reception from Hannington this evening (some problems earlier in the week also) but this evening it's very poor - is this just atmospheric issues or is there a problem with the transmitter?

Is there any direct way of contacting those responsible for maintaining the Hannington transmitter?
It's getting beyond a joke now that the signal keeps dropping and the problems are ignored and none of the complaints answered

Also having problems here in Dibden and have been most of the week. Thursday was the only evening that I was able to watch TV and now Friday evening I have no signal on any channel at all. This is not my equipment as at least 3 of my neighbours are having the same problem. Your advice 'Jamie' is poor and the service is very poor, especially when it is not even acknowledged that their is a problem with the transmitter.

I agree with Sue.
We have the same problems here in Medstead.
No HDTV signal at all.
Non-HD signal pixelated.
Has been like this on and off all week.
Clearing channels and re-tuning (numerous times) has been a waste of time.
What is being done to resolve this?

Sonia: Wehave been having reception problems all week. Aerial fix came out to check the signal which, at the time, was ok but explained that the problem is possibly 4g testing in the area. If this is the problem then how do we get a filter to block the 4g and will switching to frees at help?
