Bill Adams: As per other comments, if you can't restore the missing channels by manual tuning then you most likely have a Group A aerial which is not designed to receive the new frequencies used by the COM7 & COM8 multiplexes. If you don't have satellite or cable you may be able to get a free replacement aerial by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

John: Have you retuned since the frequency changes which took place earlier this week? Are you missing any other multiplexes?

StevensOnln1: I retuned last night when I
realised ch107 bbc news hd must have moved
as youview box reported no signal.
Unfortunately the youview retune delisted 107
and all other channels on com7!
Got a roof aerial and labgear attic amp that
seemed necessary for com7. Without amp com7 channels were marginal due to old cable run

John: Chances are you have a Group A aerial which is not designed to pick up the higher frequencies now used for COM7 & COM8 at Crystal Palace. If you don't have satellite or cable you may be eligible for a free replacement wideband aerial which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

As with others When I retuned I had lost the channels on Com7 and Com8. Following others comments I have bought a new aerial and tested it on the downstairs floor next to the television. On retuning I have now got all channels but watching the autotune it still jumped over channels 29, 33 and 35 and seems to have loaded the missing channels from channels 55 and 56. Except for the house opposite I have full view of Crystal Palace.

Alan:
Crystal Palace used to need a Group A aerial, it now needs a wide band type instead as Channel 55 and 56 are way outside the reception abilities of a Group A type. Contact Important changes to Freeview TV signals | Freeview for assistance. They may offer a free aerial replacement if you do not have satellite or cable.
