Anyone else having problems with reception of the channels on ArqA? On one TV, we can't get them at all at the moment, but usually have no issue at all. A second TV that uses a different aerial can get them, but the signal is very intermittent and blocky. All other channels seem OK at the moment, and I've eliminated the possibility of local analogue interference - which couldn't explain the issue anyway as there's nothing that's connected to both TVs.

We've also had similar issues with the HD channels, with one TV not able to get them at all, while the second (newer) one could. But that issue seems to be OK now (at the moment!)

Both aerials are roof-mounted wideband, and have always provided a very good signal strength from Waltham in the past. Location is DE56 1ET.

Adrian Brown:

It is highly likely that the problem is due the hot weather. Such disruptions are occuring in various parts of the UK and there is nothing you nor anyone else can do about it. This has been happening most years during summer hot weather for more than 50 years, so is not new.

DO NOT RETUNE.

Been getting problems, especially in the evenings, getting a signal for any channel on the ArqA mux.

PVR's signal monitor indicates the Feb-2018 re-allocation didn't happen.
Channel, Mux, Signal Strong, Quality
C49 BBCA 70 100
C54 D3+4 71 100
C58 BBCB 70 0
C29 SDN 67 100
C56 ArqA 65 0
C57 ArqB 68 100
Attempted retune of ArqA on C56 and C25 resulted in no stations being found.

Interestingly, getting HD channels (BBCB) mux okay, despite the above signal quality reading...

Aside:
The coverage checker Coverage Checker - Detailed View
is incorrect with respect to Sandy Heath signal quality being better than Waltham; we are the wrong side of the hill...

We have two TV's with built in Freeview, one in the living room, one in the bedroom. We lost signal on both TV's on Sat 28th July, we have tried daily to retune , the one in the bed room was tuned to full on the wed am but when the TV was turned on at night the signal had gone. Whilst retuneing the bedroom one we can only at best get 13 channels. the TV in the living room has only retuned once fully but whilst watching the set lost signal. Currently we are having to watch TV on cable which we do not like much. Can you give us an idea as to what the problem is.
