The symbol shows the location of the Fenham (Newcastle Upon Tyne, England) transmitter which serves 34,000 homes. The bright green areas shown where the signal from this transmitter is strong, dark green areas are poorer signals. Those parts shown in yellow may have interference on the same frequency from other masts.

Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Fenham (Newcastle Upon Tyne, England) mast?

There is a Retune Event today at Fenham, see 13 Nov 2019 - Changes to the Freeview channel line-up in the Fenham area | Freeview You need to retune as the PSB multiplexes have changed UHF channel, also a Local multiplex has started on UHF36 if you are in an area able to receive it. COMs 7&8 have closed at Fenham.

Martin Ridley: If you're loosing reception at the same time every day, there is a high likelyhood that you're suffering from electrical interference caused by something either in your home or nearby which is operating at that time. Common culprits are things like central heating pumps that contain an electric motor and are often operated on a timer, also poorly shielded LED lighting can cause electrical noise.

Martin Ridley:

As StevensOnln1 says this is likely to be some form of electrical interference. If you actually mean 1.00am ie 0100hrs, this is often around the time when Economy 7 (or off-peak supply) switches onto the low overnight rate for storage and similar heating. If you or a near neighbour have this, you may have an "arcing" connection or thermostat somewhere and you should try and find it sooner rather than later.
How long does the loss of Freeview continue?
Also, you have posted on the Fenham transmitter page but your predicted transmitter should be Pontop Pike - your aerial should be pointing pretty well SW (bearing 228 degrees). If your aerial has moved in recent high winds, this could weaken your signal and make it more vulnerable to all sorts of interference.

I'm assuming that as you've posted on the Fenham transmitter page, that's where you believe you are getting your signals from. It's certainly not the best transmitter for you according to the Freeview Detailed Coverage checker.

How long have you been moved in roughly? Where is the aerial located?

For Fenham, the aerial should have its rods vertical and be pointing ~WNW bearing 299 degrees.
The UHF channels would be C23, C26, C30, C25, C22, C28 for multiplexes PSBs1-3, COMs4-6.

You should get good reception from Pontop Pike, for which the aerial rods should be horizontal, pointing ~WSW more like slightly S of W, bearing 263 degrees.
The UHF channels would be C39, C42, C45, C32, C34, C35, C55, C56, C33 for multiplexes PSBs1-3, COMs 4-8, & the Local Newcastle multiplex.

You could also be picking up the local Sunderland "Light" relay on UHF C29, C31, C37 for PSBs1-3. It's that close, it may not matter if the aerial isn't pointing SE, but it's very very low power.

Ken brown:

Forces TV is on the COM8 multiplex, see Channel listings | Freeview
The COMs 7&8 multiplexes aren't transmitted from Fenham, so I'd guess you may be receiving them from Pontop Pike. Is your aerial pointing slightly W of SW with the rods horizontal or is it pointing almost due W with the rods vertical? We would need a full postcode to see what predicted reception is at your location.

I can't find any faults currently listed, although Pontop Pike was listed for Planned Engineering last week and work might be continuing.
Other than that there is some Tropospheric Ducting around at present affecting some parts of the country periodically, and may do so for the next day or two. See -
