over the past 10 days or so my television is not broadcasting the majority of the Freeview channels .It shows as no video signal. When I try to retune the T.V the channels disappear . At present I getting a different number of channels every time I reune ranging from 38 chanels upwards. Occaisional all the channels reappear only to disappear again at a later date. Do you have any ideas why.I receive my signal from the Craigkelly transmitter.

john blair: As no faults are listed against this station on the engineering page, nor are there any activities of an engineering nature taking place at Craigkelly, you should have a check at your aerial system starting from the jumper lead at the rear of your set.
It would though be of assistance to have knowledge of your location, this in the form of a post code or one from somewhere nearby, e.g: a shop / post office, as this would enable a terrain check of the signal path between the transmitter and wherever you happen to reside.
Although the problem is still more likely to be caused by an iffy connection in your aerial system.
