Thomas: You will be getting a reflected signal. You should mount your aerial on a roof if you want reliable reception.

Hi , I recently bought a new HDTV with built in Freeview hd tuner. On the first few days, all the freeview channels including HD channels were coming, but suddenly the HD channels have seemed to be disappeared. Also now ITV channels are also breaking up.
I have my aerial set up in the loft and live in Hounslow (near Heathrow) I fail to understand when they were all working fine, how come i am getting this problem.

Isha: Sounds very typical for a loft aerial, you should move the aerial to the roof. Also see Freeview reception has changed? | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

The digital multiplex transmitted on frequency C31 (554.0MHz)is coming up as empty on my TV. This multiplex is meant to be transmitting the HD channels. Is it working normally, if not when will it be fully functional

I should have said I live in Southend SS9. If I stand on the roof I can see Crystal Palace transmitter.I have had the odd problem with this channel (22) in the past, but, right now I am not getting any signal at all. I am not technically minded, but just cannot understand why I am have the problem.

Geoff: you have to have DVB-T2 equipment. 'HD Ready' TVs with integrated digital receivers that are more than a year old can only actually handle SD transmissions using the older DVB-T standard, and HD signals from external sources. The TV has to have the Freeview HD logo.
I'm assuming you've entered a postcode for someone else's address, or a second home. For the postcode linked in your post, the HD multiplex is on C58 from the Mendip transmitter, or on C46 from Crewkerne, C29 from Stockland Hill, or C47 from Wenvoe.
