N THOMPSON: You have a prediction for "marginal reception" of multiplex 2 until switchover on 18th April 2012. Please see Two frequency interference

I live in SE24 (2.5 miles from Crystal Palace) and seem to have similar problem to Malcolm Springett. Since yesterday afternoon I have no HD channels. and cannot get any when I rescan. The previous day reception of HD channels was fine. SD channels are still fine. I am using PCTV nanoStick T2 tuner with Microsoft Windows 7 Media Center.

Also the Reigate relay uses C31 up until April, which could cause a problem with CP HD to the south until then. (+51.14,-000.04)

Malcolm Springett:
OK OK OK Humble Pie time. The problem with living so close to CP means that reception is always good. Now while outside today I noticed that my aerial was not paralled to the ground and it was pointing about 30 degrees down. I have now repositioned it and heh presto HD returns :-). I did not originally suspect aerial as I was getting v high reception figures for all the SD channels - which as I live so close to CP is not suprising however it is clear that Freeview HD is very suspect to any kind of aerial problems.

Anyway all ok now so will go and crawl away in shame

Malcolm Springett: As you see above, the Freeview HD signal is the lowest powered, so it will be the first one to disappear if you have the issue you describe.

Thanks very much for being honest about your diagnosis. There is no shame in finding and correcting the problem.

We have not used this TV with Freeview box for many months. Now we find we can only access any channels at all from C34. (We have carried out the reset procedure as instructed. Our aerial is on the roof, fixed to the chimney. Our house is higher than most of our neighburs, but the local geography means that we have always been advised that the Crystal Palace transmitter was the right one for us. We used to get good signals on all the 'standard' channels from Crystal Palace, and we still do so ont he other TVs in the house..

I live in the GU22 postcode and have around 5 years ago had professionally installed Freeview aerial and 1 to 4 aerial distribution amplifier(Labgear).
The DVB-T signal from Crystal Palace has usually been good with no drop out, signal strength shows 60%, quality 100%. I now own a Humax HDR-Fox T2 and am unable to get any DVB-T2 signal on Ch. 31. I have tried the Humax at a neighbours and the signal there is very good.
Is there any simple reason Ch 31 could be being blocked or severely attenuated?

Thanks
