Mark,
That is almost certainly the case. We are currently sitting under a high pressure system.
We have also lost coverage from the Sudbury transmitter up here in Suffolk.
Roll on the switchover!!

I live in Rayleigh, postcode SS6 9JG and have been getting a marginally okay reception from Crystal Palace for the last 10 years with a Televes DAT 45 aerial and a 4 way masthead amplifier.
Looking forward to Sudbury DSO in July 2011 as I have Freeview HD TV but have not been able to pick up the HD channels from Crystal Palace as I'm too far away.
Well, today I lost everything so did a re-scan and suddenly I have an excellent service on the tv, including HD channels, but I'm not sure how or where from. But.. I also have a media center PC with three SD Freeview tuners in, and that does not seem to be able to pick up anything.
It's very confusing!
Here is what I am getting on the tv:
HD channels on 769.993 Mhz
BBC channels on 793.994 Mhz
ITV channels on 737.994 Mhz
The above are all very strong
ITV1+1 on 481.830 Mhz
PickTV + 1 on 754.161 Mhz
These two are more marginal.
Thanks for any help...
lisa

I read Lisa Goodmans email. I too live in Rayleigh SS6 7AP and lost all channels 4 hours ago. My EPG listing remained intact and several channels (BBC originating) returned. I did a rescan but unlike Lisa only achieved 24 channels BBC and radio and lost my original full list on EPG.Had hoped to pick up the HD channels.

Well, it seems like I was getting all three PSB's at 100% from the Mendip Transmitter near Bristol! Nice while it lasted.. I seem to be back to a mediocre reception from Crystal Palace now, with no HD :-(

On Sunday 27 March i lost certain channels from my free view. I have an LG lcd tv with built in freeview. I have tried retuning my tv with no joy, also when i switch my tv to normal analogue i can watch channels 1 to 4 but 5 is un-watchable, from what i can gather from research is that i have lost all of the channels that are broadcast using MUX 2, i live in high wycombe and i think i am receiving my signal from the crystal palace transmitter.
