What is the latest on Durris? I think things have changed again with the introduction of STV+1? I don't get anything on Mux A and COM6. I seem to remember something being said about changes to Durris in Spring 2011 or should I hold on for further changes in Summer 2011? I am at AB15 7SF. I don't want to change aerial, etc until I know everything has settled down in what is being transmitted, if you see what I mean? Thanks

Since before christmas, but after the switchover my channels on Mux A have become unwatchable. (Fiver, Five USA, ITV3 etc). They have all been fine for years and I haven't changed anything. Any ideas?

I agree with the previous comments about lost muxes and also the information on the Durris transmitter is incorrect as ArqA com 5 must be transmitted at a higher power than mux A and Arqb com 6 as they are on channels 51 and 52 and are no longer showing as any kind of signal that transferers to a watchable picture but channel 41 is acceptable. I have my aerial installer coming back even though my new aerial installation is now weeks out of warranty this for the second time and Iam sure this will soon stop or I will be charged for the visit. Do the installers know what is happening at Durris does anybody ? Can someone advise what to expect and when as Iam sure that Iam not alone in having an aerial installation carried out prior to DSO and finding that I might be left no better off. My post code is AB24 4DQ

Just checked with my neighbour this afternoon and he has all the channels no problem. We have the same aerials, same high quality coax, both aerials in our lofts about 6ft apart. Only difference is our amplifiers. He has a plug in diistribution amp at back of telly, I have a masthead amp. I will try taking out the amp. Still stumped as the problems started a while after the switchover.

To add my question! Since STV+1 has come online. I have retuned, as requested.
I am now unable to get ITV2+1. Any ideas as to why - I too use the durris transmitter!

Gordon: ITV2+1 is on multiplex A, which is currently held a lower power.

Graham: "NOTE: The commercial multiplexes at Durris will remain on their pre-switchover channels until summer 2011 (SDN - channel 52 [20kW], Arqiva A - channel 41 [5kW] and Arqiva B channel 44 [5kW]). NOTE: Due to the provision of Sky Sports 1 and 2 for BT Vision and TUTV customers, Multiplex ArqB (COM6) will operate on C51 until summer 2011, not C44, as planned by Ofcom. "

Paul: Just remove the amplifiers and, if possible, move the aerial to the roof.
