True Entertainment has been moved by Sony to Local multiplexes, if you haven't done a full retune since 17th July then you should do one - first do an automatic scan with the aerial unplugged to clear all previous tuning, then try an automatic scan with it plugged back in. The Local (Bristol) Mux from Mendip is on UHF C30, if you don't get it using an automatic scan, try a manual scan for the channel. However predicted reception at your location - put your postcode into Digital UK - Coverage checker shows that the Local mux reception is "Marginal" so you may not get it steadily at all times. You will probably also need a Group T / Wideband aerial to satisfactorily receive all muxes from Mendip. Old group was C/D.
Note, because of current weather/propagation conditions you may experience interference or lack of reception of several muxes, so may need to retune when conditions are more stable if you lose channels on a given retune.

Please note that there are no local services aimed at any SN postr code su it is unlikely that you will get True Entertainment.

He is highly unlikely to get any usable reception in Bowerhill. I am nearer the Mendip transmitter, being in Trowbridge, and I cannot get those services as the radiation pattern is aimed at Bristol area and not into Wiltshire.

I'm well aware of the radiation pattern shown above.
Does the Digitaluk checker show any predicted reception of the Local Mux at your location Mike?
If so, perhaps (not surprisingly) it's not as accurate as one might hope!

It shows as poor reception, which is as expected. In fact it is unreliable to the extent that is is virtually unusable.
