John Leadbeater:

I'm afraid we don't know the answer to that, contacting the channel owner might give you the answer. Otherwise Digital UK | Channel listings is usually up-to-date and putting your postcode into Digital UK - Coverage checker should show you the predicted reception of multiplexes at your location.

To add to my previous, PBS America should be available on My5 if you have an Internet connected TV or box and a suitable Broadband connection.

Is there likely to be an upgrade for "The Redruth (Cornwall, England) mast is not one of the extended Freeview HD (COM7 and COM8) transmitters, "

mr hosking: There is no possibility of COM7 & COM8 being added to Redruth. They have already been removed from Beacon Hill, Caradon Hill and Caldbeck transmitters during frequency changes for the 700MHz clearance and will be closing completely in the next couple of years or so.

mr hosking: FreeSports is broadcast on COM8, there is no chance of it being available anywhere in Cornwall unless the channel moved to another multiplex with wider coverage (at a much higher cost to the broadcaster). Whatever is showing on your aunt's TV isn't FreeSports, as there is no coming soon message for a channel which has already been broadcasting for a couple of years.

carl plaister:

If you are still having problems, check that your aerial hasn't moved in any recent high winds and that your coax is in good condition and is not damaged. Check your connections by unplugging the coax plugs, check there is no corrosion, and plug them in again - this helps clear any oxidation from the connectors.
