Channel 8 missing. Cannot receive the new STV2 service. All other channels perfectly ok.

You might want to have a look at this: www.digitaluk.co.uk/operations/planned_engineering_works - Roseneath HD and other channels are out on October 2017. Not a lot of information on this from anyone, or even a warning note on a Freeview channel. I thought my TV was broken!

I have a very strange problem I have been receiving perfect pictures from a loft aerial for years. Two nights ago I sat up half the night with perfect reception Tonight at 19.45 I switched on and no signal no where /Nothing has been alltered or touched, the aerial coax feed is untouched but has been checked, but no signal Why should this happen all of a sudden. I might add I had a similar problem 3 or 4 weeks ago which rectified itself and all was well till now. I this a transmission problem or a TV problem. The indoor loft aerial is fixed in one position and untouched. Cant understand it.

Lost all digital TV signals circa 1am 15th Aug for circa 30mins and circa 5am for circa 15 mins. Signal went again circa 1am 16th Aug and has been out now for over an hour. Have checked on two separate aerial systems and both have no signal so fault not with my equipment.
My Post Code is G82 5JQ (Cardross).

Ed: There was engineering work overnight at Rosneath involving frequency changes. You will need to retune to restore missing channels.
