All of my TVs are showing "No Signal" but when I check this site it is saying no signal problems in this area. I have tried resetting the TV but I am still getting "No Signal".

Magie Carter-Ebbels: Retuning was the worst thing to do as you have now deleted all of your channels which were previously correctly tuned, making it much more difficult to find the cause of the problem. There is nothing showing for the Salisbury transmitter, however if you are actually receiving Mendip (there are areas where signal from both overlaps) then you would have lost signal for a few hours overnight due to engineering work. Your only real option now is to retune again and see if your channels come back, then start looking for a fault if they don't.

john parker: According to the engineering post which has appeared since you posted, the Sailsbury transmitter is off air for planned engineering work which began at approximately 10:35 this morning. It doesn't say when the work will be completed, but most engineering work is done by early evening. Transmitter work is often weather dependant, making it difficult to notify in advance of when the work will take place. Do not attempt to retune.

john parker:

Engineering work is carried out without any notification of when it will be completed. So much depends on what the work involves and how long it takes the Engineers to complete the tasks required.

According to the BBC, work on the TV transmitters was completed at 1448 and on the DAB transmitters at 1458.

V Gardner:

if you are receiving from the Salisbury transmitter, it will be BBC South and ITV Meridian (South Coast) - same as the Rowridge transmitter.
There's also a Local Multiplex transmitted from Salisbury on UHF C23 (if you can receive it at your location) which should have a "That's TV" local station at LCN7 which presumably will have some local news.

Paul Dench: The BBC are currently reporting no faults for the Salisbury transmitter. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Are any neighbours experiencing a loss of signal? Have you lost all or just some channels?

Whatever you do don't attempt to retune as that will cause your TV to delete all the channels which are already correctly tuned before searching for them again, making it more difficult to see when the problem has been solved.

Salisbury

I am at Amesbury, SP4 7AS and receive Freeview from Salisbury, I'm not sure which transmitter, but it may be Harnham. Just frequently - in the last two or three days - there are no Freeview signals. I am wondering whether there is a problem with the transmiiter. I would be grateful for your advice.
