I watch Freeview TV from the Selkirk transmitter. My reception strength is mostly quite good. It seems this station doesn't have the necessary hardware to distribute all the Freeview channels. I have several times been advised onscreen of an extra channel, but when I rescan .. nothing. Yes, my TV is FULL HD tuner. Will we ever get all of the channels? Pat Stevens.

Patrick Stevens: Selkirk doesn't carry the temporary COM7 & COM8 multiplexes and will never do so. They are temporary services available from 30 main transmitters covering around 70% of UK households and are expected to close by 2022. I take it you mean that your TV supports Freeview HD (i.e. has a DVB-T2 tuner) as Full HD refers to the resolution of the screen panel and not the tuner.

What has happened to BBC 2 Scotland this evening? Normally receive on channel 55 from Selkirk transmitter but this evening seems to have been replaced with BBC 2 (England) and BBC 2 Scotland not appearing on any channel at any frequency. That said we have 2 aerials - one picking up from Selkirk the other from Chatton, but assume duplication isn't an issue.

Kelvin Butler: It may be that your TV has auto-retuned and picked up Chatton in preference to Selkirk. If you check the 800 channels range you should find any duplicates there.

StevensOnln1: Thank you for the suggestion, but had already checked the 800 channels and not there either. I suspect, as you say, I may have a Chatton/Selkirk tuning issue, but never had similar issue in the past.
